Solutions

Pile of wood hauled from the floor and stacked on the built-in workbench — check.

Rotted boxes of moldy canvas duffle bags bagged for bulky trash retrieval — check.

Trash toted to the curb — check.

Faulty toilet flapper silenced — check.

Rotted leaves bagged and secured for pick-up — check.

Split cabinet door removed  to take to the workshop for gluing — check.

Doorknob set-screw replaced and knob re-installed — check.

Hot-water heater vent re-attached — check.

Diet Dr. Pepper and cold bottled beer drunk;  fresh chips, veggies, and guacamole consumed; old friends and new sharing conversation while resting after all that work — check, check,  AND check.
